The City of Columbus has begun construction of Phase 3 of the Goeller Blvd. Trail project.  The Trail work is being completed in conjunction with a storm sewer project along the south side of Goeller Blvd.  This year the construction will be completed from last year’s terminus (near the entrance to Traditions of Columbus) to Tipton Lakes Boulevard.  The project should be completed by June 30, weather permitting).

The new, widened trail will be twelve feet in width to accommodate pedestrians and bicycles. Future phases will connect the trail from the Fire Station to SR 46.  When all phases are completed, this trail will provide a safe connection from the Tipton Lakes neighborhoods to commercial areas, including groceries, pharmacies, banks, and athletic/fitness centers.  The completed trail will also meet accessibility standards.
