This beautiful and livable environment didn’t happen overnight. The history of Tipton Lakes goes back over two decades. In the late 1960s, the business leaders of Columbus, Indiana, commissioned a housing study which determined that although there was a growing number of jobs in Bartholomew County, the growth of housing stock had not kept up.
